I would like to talk about an occasion when I was late for something extremely important. It happened a few years ago when I was about to catch a flight to the United States. The trip was very important because I had been invited to one of my close friends’ graduation ceremonies and I needed to arrive several days beforehand. Otherwise, he would probably have been disappointed. On top of that, the plane ticket cost around $60. So missing the flight would be quite expensive. Unfortunately, things went wrong from the very beginning. I underestimated the traffic on the way to the airport and ride about 15 minutes later than planned to make my tools. When I finally got there, I suddenly realized that I had left my passport at home. I was absolutely panicked and frustrated. I immediately called my mom and asked her to bring my passport to the airport while waiting. I explained my situation to the L.I. staff. Fortunately, they were very understanding and helped me reserve a seat on the next flight, although I had to pay an additional fee. In the end, I still managed to make the trip and attend my friends’ graduation. The experience taught me a valuable lesson about preparation and time management. Since then, I have always arrived at the airport at least 3 hours.
