So my family has this tradition where we gather every year. It's usually held on December 28 or 29. It's an annual tradition where we have a mini reunion. It's usually composed of my family and my uncles and aunts on my mother's side, together with my grandmother and my grandfather. Every year, the location changes. It's either held at our home or at my other uncles' and aunts' houses, depending on what they decide. It's just a simple celebration; we have dinner, and every family member brings their own food. It's like a potluck, and we play traditional games from the Philippines, like Pinoy Henyo or the one where you have to catch eggs without breaking them. These traditional games are very heartwarming. It's heartwarming because you get to see everyone, even just for a day. Even though you don't see each other often, the connection stays strong. They show that it's very genuine and that they love each other.
