However, the ones that I remember I enjoyed in my childhood was a festival called Loik Gatong. So this festival in Thailand is where we thank the river by making lotus cakes, something similar to that. to that and we let the lotus cakes or towers onto the river and let it float and we will put a candle on it to make it look beautiful. So I believe it’s celebrated during November and what people do during this time is they buy lotus leaves, they buy banana leaf stem and they build kind of a cake out of it and they make so many beautiful designs. A lot of architects I know really enjoy this festival since they are allowed to brag their architectural skills on on designing their structure. So I think that’s one significant point there I’d like to mention since I’m a civil engineering student and this is within my area of expertise. So I find the celebration special since as a child, I’ve always loved designing something a little boy they love making something cool and I was also one of those little boys and I try my best to make something cool when I was around nine years old and I think I did and I was able to show it off to my parents my peers and my teachers
