Today I would like to discuss about an advertisement that I saw a few months ago. That I saw a few months ago and at first I was quite excited by seeing this advertisement. I would start from the beginning. I was calling through Instagram and an ad came up. It was from a Chinese website called Teemo just like AliExpress. So and I had supposedly won a free item. This made me very excited and I was going to try my luck so I downloaded the app and when I opened it my first disappointment came. I had to purchase 12 further items so to claim my free price. I was like okay why not. see what do I need more. I started to look through the website, you know, started to search it and I came across 12 of products that I might need, not sure but I might need them so I added them to card and placed my order. Firstly, and when the order arrived, The package was heavily damaged. I don’t think what type of courier company they use so it was another disappointment. And I thought the package would be quite larger because some of the items I ordered were quite big but the package, the size and all of them it was a completely hugely a big scam. Timo is a well known website and is known by many influencers and they promote it. So I was quite shocked how these pronounced influencers are promoting such an illegal website that do not stand on their claims, the claims they provide on their websites. So overall it made me quite frustrated and whenever I saw the ad again my hall mode shifted and I had to relive that moment which I didn’t quite like. Overall it was quite our experience.
