I'd like to tell you about the environmental issue that has occurred in my country, Indonesia. There are flooding and landslides. These natural disasters happened in 2025. For flooding, it normally occurs in large cities such as Jakarta, Bogor, and Bekasi. To overcome this issue, local authorities are trying to reconstruct the drainage system, and they are also sorting out the bins based on categories to reduce single-use plastics. This is to address the problem of single-use plastics in the ocean. Besides that, in some parts of Indonesia, there are severe landslides. This has happened in Aceh and Sumatra because of deforestation. Local authorities and the government need to enforce regulations for companies and businesses that need to expand their operations, which often requires cutting down forests or woodlands. This kind of issue is still making headlines.
