I decided to stop using Facebook and TikTok last year. It was really disturbing to use such app because it was time consuming and it was also killing my creativity. I encountered Facebook in 2017 through my friend and TikTok was introduced by my colleague after two years of Covid. It was really good to use at first but after spending more time on it, I realized that I was just wasting my time and not doing anything. I was restricted by my parents due to overusing of such apps. Also, I heard somewhere that TikTok is extracting the data from your device and providing it to the parent company which I didn’t like because it kills the privacy of a person. There might be photos and videos or any data that is private and cannot be shown to others but taking such data is not a good thing. I was so happy to stop using such apps. I really wanted to enjoy my own life by hanging time, hanging with my friends as well as doing some creative work. Ever since I stopped using those apps, I am now utilizing my time with more creativity and I am feeling more fresh and active.
