Change is a crucial part of one's life. One cannot hold on to something for eternity. Eventually, they would have to let it go and move on to the next thing. Turning over stones can be quite nerve-wracking, but it holds a significant part in one's life. Today, I would love to talk about something that I would like to replace in the near future. I have owned my mobile phone for a significant amount of time. I've used it for about 6 years now. It was a gift from my father, so it holds a lot of sentimental value. But practically speaking, I would say it is of no use to me nowadays. These days, there are technologically advanced items and devices being sold in the market. Comparing it to my mobile phone, it lags behind by a huge margin. First of all, the mobile phone is almost 6 to 7 years old. There are many drawbacks to it. It is not quite up to date with all the sophistication and the science. Furthermore, there are many cracks and scratch marks on the screen which hinder my daily activities, such as texting someone or when I'm continuing with my studies on my mobile phone. Sometimes it becomes difficult to clearly see what is written and to browse through the information. Additionally, there are other drawbacks as well. If I continue to use this mobile in the future, it would affect my further studies. The course I'm going to pursue requires me to have an up-to-date mobile phone. So if I do not comply with it, I think I would certainly be hindered in studying. Furthermore, it is very important to me as it was a gift and I have been emotionally connected to it. I think that is one of the reasons I haven't been able to replace it. But now, looking at its condition, I think it has become crucial to replace it. I would prefer to buy a new phone.
