I haven't had a day off recently due to my hectic schedule between work and studies. However, if I had a day off, I would spend the whole night before binge-watching Chinese dramas on YouTube or TikTok. Even though I hate to admit that these shows are shallow and have no educational value, they really know how to captivate people with plots and storylines that can enrage viewers. For example, most of the dramas are about the main character getting cheated on by their partner but later finding a rich and beautiful partner who is, as you might guess, always a CEO of the biggest corporation. After that, I would go to bed and wake up at noon to enjoy my brunch. Then I would play some games and go to the swimming pool alone. I wouldn't mind having someone to go with me, but most of the time I would like to indulge myself underwater solitarily. The feelings are magical and exhausting at the same time. After dinner, I would take my boyfriend to the park to stroll around and share our days because I guess that is what lovers do. And if we are lucky, we might catch one or two gorgeous shirtless guys there. It could be like icing on the cake. At the end of the day, I might feel tired yet content and energized. Having a day off is precious because you can enjoy breakfast, rest from the daily work routine, and finally focus on yourself, which I believe is beneficial to your mental health.
