My favorite food is mooncake. The main ingredients include green bean paste, salted egg yolks, salt, and sugar. Most people only eat this snack on the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival while they are appreciating the perfect full moon with their family. If their family cannot be home with them, they will also look at the moon because they know their family is also looking at it. People believe it's the perfect full moon of the year, and it represents the unity of the family. To be honest, I'm not quite sure how it's made, but I believe it involves grinding the ingredients, mixing them together, shaping them, and then putting them in an oven to bake for several hours. The reason I enjoy this snack is not only because it's very tasty but also because it makes me reminisce about the past. The Mid-Autumn Festival is the second most important holiday in China, and I only got to see my grandparents during this festival and the Spring Festival. As a child, I really looked forward to meeting my grandparents, and my parents would buy mooncakes to gift to relatives and friends, so I got to see my grandparents.
