Well, food plays an important role in everyone's life. I belong to India and I live in the southern part of India. That means we normally eat a lot of spicy foods like butter chicken, mutton biryani, and beef biryani. Today I am going to talk about a special food that is only made on Christmas. It is very famous in India as well. It is none other than chicken biryani. Normally we make this food during traditional festivals like Christmas or Eid. I think there are several preparations for making chicken biryani. First, we have to marinate the chicken with yogurt, turmeric powder, chili powder, and garam masala. We have to keep it for 20 minutes. Secondly, we have to boil the rice for around 20 minutes on a low flame. After that, we mix the rice with the marinated chicken and keep it on the stove for around 1 hour. Whenever I have chicken biryani, I feel very happy, and it is more delicious than any other food that I have. Recently, I talked with my mom, and she told me how to make this food because in the upcoming December, I am going to make chicken biryani. It is a big festival for all around the world. Also, recently I had a plate of chicken biryani from an Indian restaurant in Halifax. However, I did not find it very good. So this is the food I like a lot, and we normally make it in our country during the festival.
