Although I'm not a sweet tooth person, there are some occasions when I like to eat sweet dishes. For example, on the Holi and Diwali festivals. Here I would like to talk about a sweet dish which I eat on the Diwali festival, known as funnel cake and also called jalebi in my country. It is made of wheat flour, which is deep-fried batter and soaked in sugar syrup. It is particularly orange in color and spiral in shape. It becomes more delicious to eat when served hot. It has a crispy texture on the outside and inside it is so delicate, and the syrup creates a balance of flavors. This is similar to flour-based sweet dishes found in North America. People eat it to enjoy the victory of Lord Rama. Every bite of this makes it so addictive, and I really like it because the taste is so delicious. It also captures the great essence of traditional Indian festival joy in every taste and tradition.
