One of the most important and strictly enforced rules in my country is the law that forbids people from driving after drinking alcohol. This regulation was introduced many years ago, but it has become stricter in recent years because of the increasing number of accidents caused by drunk riders. Personally, I believe this rule is extremely necessary because when people drink, they might become blurry, and their reaction time slows down dramatically. Even if they just ride a motorbike, they can easily lose balance and make poor decisions on the road. I remember seeing many heartbreaking news stories on TV about accidents caused by drunk riders, and it really makes me realize how serious the problem is. In Vietnam, when people are caught after drinking alcohol, they have to pay a huge fine, and their licenses may be suspended for several months. The police always have a tendency to check alcohol levels on the road, especially during the holidays, to make sure everyone follows the rule. At the end of the day, I believe this rule can significantly improve road safety in my country and encourage people to think twice before drinking and riding. It also creates a more responsible driving culture for everyone.
