I believe history is not merely a collection of past events or stories of civilizations and powerful characters. It is rather a way to understand the present and look towards the future. Thus, the importance of history in the future will increase, and more students should be interested in learning about it than today. We are yet to comprehend the full potential of history, and it is still often seen as a subject for weaker students. But in the future, we will realize how important it is for people to learn history for a prosperous future. So I don't see any reason why history would disappear from the school curriculum.
