I agree that complaints from customers are more frequent nowadays. I think this is because the level of the economy in most countries is higher than in the past. People can choose various options from different producers. If they don't like the goods produced by one manufacturer, they can complain and choose items from another company. For example, in the USSR, there wasn't free competition in the market, and people had only a few options to choose from. They didn't have the opportunity to complain; they just bought what was sold.

I agree that the complaints from the customers are more frequent nowadays. I think it is so because now the level of economy in most every country is higher than in the past. So people can choose various options from different producers. And if they don’t like the goods produced by one manufacturer, they can complain and choose the item from another company. For example, in the USSR there wasn’t free competition on the market. And people have only few options to choose from. So they didn’t have the opportunity to complain, they just bought what was sold.
