I think in the past, without social media, people in a relationship were much more connected and had a more realistic view of each other. But nowadays, I think social media has changed relationships so much that it has given people a way to text and talk online, which has caused some negative effects, one of the most known being betrayal. But in some positive ways, people in long-distance relationships tend to be happy about it.
