Well, it is common knowledge that some students don't do well with standardized testing in education systems. This is because some of them usually get nervous and anxious, and as such, they forget most things they've read. Additionally, some students have good practical skills and are very creative and innovative. Relying only on standardized tests as a measure of the knowledge and capability of a student does not fully capture the uniqueness of those students who do not perform well on standardized tests. As a result, they are discouraged by the results they receive and do not push further to develop their innovative skills and creativity. However, when they are given the opportunity and tested practically, they tend to do better than those who perform well only on the tests.
