One book that I found particularly useful was Atomic Habits written by James Clear. I read it about a year ago during my summer break, at a time when I was trying to improve my lifestyle and become more disciplined. I found this book extremely practical and motivating, because the author explains self-improvement in a very simple and logical way. One of the key ideas in the book is the concept of improving by just 1% every day. According to James Clear, even tiny daily improvements can gradually compound and lead to significant long-term results. I really liked this philosophy because it made personal growth feel much more realistic and achievable rather than overwhelming. At that period of my life, I had been struggling for nearly two years to change myself for the better and get rid of some bad habits. However, I would usually lose my motivation very quickly and give up after a short time. One of my best friends gave me this book as a present. I was already quite frustrated with my unsuccessful attempts at self-improvement, but I still decided to give it a try. Surprisingly, after applying some of the techniques from the book, I actually started noticing small improvements in my daily routine and mindset. So, this book had a really positive impact on me, because it changed the way I view progress and self-discipline. Instead of expecting instant results, I learned to focus on consistency and gradual improvements, which made me feel far more confident and motivated.
