To others, I think there is no clear answer because it depends on the person, and every person chooses a different direction. Some people might prefer to be with their family and just accommodate their basic needs and help their parents as adults, while others might prefer to be independent, go abroad, study in foreign countries, and try to be away from their parents. Both have their own benefits as well as disadvantages. Being abroad helps a person to be independent and face harsh truths. On the other hand, it helps them to build self-esteem and motivation. If they rely on family, they will have strong ties with their family, which would lead to deeper relationships with their family members and mom.
