Sense and Sensibility is one of the favorite books that I have read. I read this book very recently and also the first reading was done sometimes back. So it is a novel which has been written by Jane Austin, a very well-known female writer. I love this book because this book is basically about matrimony not only about matrimony and its consequences but it teaches women of how we can actually choose a great partner. So according to this book there is a protagonist who is Elino at the same time Marinal is the sister of the main character and through this book we can see many themes which have been explored. Love, matrimony, societal expectations, societal pressure are some of the main themes. In this book we can see how the Dashwood family comes to a very great position through matrimony. At the same time we saw that after the death of the protagonist how the family’s social status come to a level where they have to seek support from the neighbors and at the same time, why I consider this as a great novel is Pickers. We can see that how one of the main characters suffered just because she thought only about the partner’s financial stability and status. And on the other hand we can see how Marinal could come to a level where she seeks for a partner who could actually love her for the person who she is. Therefore sense and sensibility is one of my favorite novels that I would love to read whenever and wherever I could get some spare time.
