Advertising, I would not say it reflects the values and priorities of a society accurately because most of the time advertising is a two-edged sword. Why? Because it does prioritize timing regarding how it should market the product and how it should reach the target consumers or customers, but at the same time, it is totally based on capitalistic ideas of promoting materialism, which I would not say are the values and priorities of a society. In today's world, I would suggest the values and priorities of a society are more about being unique and being different, but then at the same time also having a sense of belonging to a country or a group of people. In that way, it does advertise in a way that the product is marketed to make you feel unique or that you belong to something. But then at the same time, the societal values of being there for each other or the communal aspect of doing something for the community do not reflect that. So I believe advertising does not reflect that.

Advertising, I would not say it reflects the values and priorities of a society accurately because most of the time advertising is a two-ease-old. Why? Because it does prioritize timing again about how it should market the product and how it should reach to the target consumers or customers, but at the same time it is totally based on capitalistic ideas on promoting materialism, which I would not say is the values and priorities of a society. In today’s world, I would suggest the values and the priorities of a society is more of like being something unique and being something different, but then at the same time also having the sense of belongingness to a country or a group of people. So in that way it does advertise in a way that the product is marketed in such a way that it makes you feel unique or it makes you feel that you belong to something. But then at the same time the societal values of being there for each other or like the communal self of doing something for the community, it does not reflect that. So I believe advertising does not reflect that.
