I will say there are two potential drawbacks of it. The first one is the economic loss or the downturn in the economy because if the country faces some natural disasters, then tourists will tend not to come into that country until that disaster is resolved or any conflict is solved. The second one is the loss of jobs because most countries provide jobs as tourist servers or to facilitate the tourists, and they are getting paid for it. If there are no tourists, then nobody will have the money to pay the employees, leading to job scarcity. That will be the second problem. Overall, both of these problems can be addressed by not totally depending on tourism, but instead having more jobs or a broader range of ideas to solve that.
