There are in fact many potential long-term effects and consequences of increased urbanizations towards community life. Firstly, I believe that increased urbanization can destroy certain ways of living for certain communities that are located in rural areas that are relied on farming, etc. I think that it is extremely important that urbanization doesn’t spread to those communities. I know that certain communities such as rural communities prefer living in a better space in a much more confined and closer to nature type of living. While urbanization increases economic value and financial importance to one country, it can still step into other rural communities’ lives and destroy their way of living and their traditions and even their cultures. So I don’t think it is beneficial. And this is one of the long term consequences of increased urbanization on community life. Furthermore, urbanization also creates something called urban segregation. So it is a segregation system that aims to naturally separate the superior class and the lower end class and middle class as they’re living in urban spaces. It is such an important factor that should be addressed and this is one of the one big consequences.
