I think the consequences would be devastating towards the working class because industries used to rely on manpower. They used to rely on hard labor to be able to do the steps needed to produce their product or service. But when there are increased rates of automation in these processes, less human labor is needed and automatically that causes lots of working class people to lose their jobs to the automation. economically that may benefit the industry but towards the workers it would be devastating and socially it would cause a lot of uproar because people are losing their jobs and not Not to mention the carbon emissions would go up the roof due to the constant automation of the machines, the constant need for electricity and power to keep running these.
