Band 4+: 1. You currently live in a rental apartment, and the noise from your neighbours disturbs you. Write a letter to your landlord. In your letter o describe how this situation affects you; o explain what steps you have taken to address the problem; o ask the landlord to take action to resolve the issue.

Dear Landlord,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you to complain regarding the night noise in Lime Tree Court. The new neighbours, who have moved since October have disrupted a whole block with their night parties, which are not occasional. I live here with my young family. Our children in age 1 years old and 7 cannot sleep properly, because this disturbing. My oldest one attends school and mornings are a disaster for us. In school headteacher complained that she is sleeping in classroom.

Consequently, I have looked for a solution and taken action to resolve this issue. I will write to the council with video and measurements of the noise. Moreover, my next step will be called to police for every next situation as I mentioned before, because I need to proof these events.

I would like to kindly ask you to take urgent action in this matter. I expect that you will contact them immediately, and these tenants will be prosecuted for their unacceptable behaviour. If this situation repeats again, I would like to move them at another place, where can continue with this.
