Dear Mr./Mrs.Williams,

Thank you very much for inviting me to your farewell party.I truely appreciate your kind invitation,and I am hounoured to be a part of such a special occassion.However,I am writing to express my sincere apologies,as i will not able to attend the celebration.

Unfortunately,I have to travel to my hometown this weekend to attend my elder’s sister marraige.The wedding date was fixed several months ago and all the travel arrangement have already been made.Since, this is my sister’s wedding,my family is relying on me to help with all the arrangements or other responsibilities.

It has been a pleasure to working with you for the past three years.During this time,I have always admired your professionalism,strong work ethics and possitive attitude.Your willingness to support your colleagues and solve any problem calmly have inspired every staff members.I have learned many valuable skills from working alongside you and your guidance has played an important role in my professional growth.

Although,I will miss the opportunity to celebrate with with you,I sincerely wish you every success and happiness in the next chapter of your life.Please keep in touch,and I will meet you soon after i come back.
