Band 6+: a company has asked your local council to open a factory in the area where you live. write a letter to the local council state what problems this might cause, explain how it will affect you and others, suggest what you want the council to do

Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to express my dissatisfaction about the plan of opening a factory nearby our community which will lead to serious health problems.

The company advocate that it will provide employment to people but we believe that this project will only affect the environment. The noises generated from the factory will causes disturbance to the peaceful environment of the community.

As you know, the factory will produce a lot of products which will emission various polluted gases and that can cause many health issues for the local people. Moreover, in our neighborhood there are more older and younger people whose health can easily be affected by the pollution.

To maintain a decent and peaceful living environment, we request you to restrict the setup plan of the factory in our area. We would like to suggest to open a factory on the outskirt of the city which would be beneficial for the community as well as for the environment.

I would appreciate your immediate attention to this matter.
