Band 6+: You recently bought a piece of furniture (a dining table) from an online store. When it arrived, you found that it was damaged. Write a letter to the store manager. In your letter: explain what you bought and when it arrived; describe the damage; say what you want them to do about it.

Dear Sir,

I recently came to your store to purchase a sofa for my living room. I was at the store by evening around the time when your staffs were delivering the goods ordered. The sofa was very good and comfortable when seated and the grey color matched my living room aesthetic.

However, the sofa that got delivered was damaged, the cushions were torn and one hand rest was shaking. I believe it could have happened while transporting the furniture or it was already damaged and the staffs were not aware of it because it was in the box.

I would appreciate it, if you could replace it with a new one with the same colour and texture and also I would be happy if you could check it before transporting to ease the confusion later. I do have the bill and the warranty card with me in case the delivery person wish to see it. I believe you would address my concern.
