Deat Pat,
I hope you’re doing well. I’m writing this letter, because I heard from your friend, Ben, that you recently went to a restaurant by the lake and you enjoyed it. I’m planning on throwing a birthday party and when I looked up the restaurant, it actually caught my eye, so I thought I’d host my party there. Therefore, I had some questions regarding the place.
As I mentioned above, I’m planning to celebrate my birthday party on September 30th, at a fine dinning restaurant. I initially wanted to have it close to my own house in the suburbs. However, everyone else lives in downtown, so I decided to pick a different place that would be a shorter commute for others. I was thinking of inviting roughly 20 people for dinner and drinks. Can you please give me the name of the restaurant, and also the directions? I need to write down the exact address on the invites, giving everyone clear directions so they won’t get lost.
Additionally, what kind of cuisine does the restaurant serve? I’ve been warned by many of my guests that they don’t eat red meat, and I want to respect their dietery restrictions by making sure everyone can get the food they want. Since you’ve been to the place a few times now, I’d love to know your opinion about the service, as well as any special recommendations from the menu that you might have.
Finally, this is your official invite and I’ll be delighted to have you there, celebrating my special night with me.
I look forward to hearing back from you and possibly seeing you at the party.
Best,
Rojan Jafarnezhad
