Dear sir,

I am writing to explain why I have been unable to attend my evening English class for the past two weeks.I am sorry for my absences and not informing you earlier.

Unfortunately ,I have had long time spend in my personal problems at my home, which required my attention in the evening. As a result, I was unable to attend my classes regularly in this period. I Understand that for may have affected my progress,I sincerely apologize for my absences this caused.

Although,I could not attend my classes , I have tried to keep up with the lessons.I contacted one of the my classmates and collected notes for each class.I have also reviewed my grammar topics and excercise all that were covered during my absences.

I intend to catch up on missed work as soon as possible. I will attend all the upcoming classes and remaining all the assignments.I would be grateful if you coulad let me know about any important topics and activities that I should focus on more.I am also willing to stay after attend my classes if I need extra help.
