Dear Sir or Madam,

My name is Priya Praveen. I am working in a designing company as a rebar estimator. I am writing this letter to ask permission for the opportunity to talk with the students.

I have been working in this field for the past 6 years. Therefore, I know the qualifications and skills required for the job. If I have a chance, I want to talk about the recent designing software, which is really useful for their future career development. Particularly the software called “BIM,” which will be used by most of the people in the future. Moreover, I could be able to provide assistance to the students for learning the software.

The construction industry has many job opportunities at present. The demand for the construction will be increased in the future. In addition, it has various types of works, such as site engineers who plan the work, designing engineers who design the plan, and estimators who are responsible for calculating the construction work.

I request that you allow me to give the speech to students on Monday, 13th of March, at 10am in the college. I hope to hear a positive response.
