Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to contribute to your magazine’s feature titled ‘The Book That Influenced Me Most’.
The book I would like to write about is Where Are You Going, Dad? This book focuses on the relationship between fathers and their children, particularly how busy fathers often ignore their children’s questions in daily life. As a result, children gradually stop trying to communicate with them.
When I read this book, I was raising twin children. I realised that I sometimes behaved in a similar way. Reading this book made me realise my mistakes, and I began to make a conscious effort to pay more attention to them and become a better listener.
I believe this book could influence many other fathers who neglect communication with their young children without realising it due to busy lives, by reminding them of the importance of listening.
Yours faithfully,
Beomseok Kim
