Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter in regards to the the article ‘The book that influenced me most’ which is planned to be published by your magazine. As an avid reader and a fellow novel enthusiast, I was greatly influenced by the story titled as ‘The Goat Life’.
The book was based on a true story about a man who leaves his homeland to a foreign country in search of better career opportunities, the extreme hardships he faced during the time he spent over there and how he survived those difficult situations without giving up hope.
When I finished the story, I was left in an ocean of thoughts about my own life. When we read a book we often tend to relate or compare our lives with the protagonist and when I did the same, the situations which I assumed to be difficult was nothing in comparison to what the person in the story had to go through. I started looking at my problems from a wider perspective and it helped me understand and analyze the situations with clarity.
The story is very likely to influence people around the globe as it is about a regular human being who has gone through extreme situations in his life. This will definitely help people to appreciate the life they have.
