Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to express my interest in the course titled ‘Optimization in Computing’. The course is listed on the university’s website and is taught by instructor Dr. John Keneddy. The course begins in the Summer of 2024 and requires completing a prerequisite elementary course.
I come from a mathematics background which never involved formally studying computing sciences however, with the rise in the field of artificial intelligence, my interests have significantly developed to study optimization in Big Data in depth. After carefully reviewing the course structure, I believe that this course could be highly beneficial for my future endeavors and my underlying expertise in mathematics could serve as a bonus.
I understand it might not be a usual request but I humbly seek a special exception that can be made in order for me to enroll in the course. I believe such an allowance could be quite successful for an enthusiastic learner who is keen to bridge two different fields of study.
Sincerely,
Josh Spada
