Overall, it can be clearly seen that any concert or professional, theatrical and popular musical attracted a significantly large percentage of people across all age groups compared to other types of events. In addition, the proportion of people aged 15 to 19 is more likely to attend any professional events.
In terms of the 15 – 19 age range, the percentage of people participating in professional events was the highest, nearly 50%, followed by popular musicals with 35%, while theatrical events accounted for over 20%. However, the other figures of performing art, including symphonic or classical, opera, choral music and dance, made up under 10%.
With regard to people aged 35 to 44, the highest attendance was at concerts or professional events, with around 45%. This was followed by popular musical and theatrical, with approximately 20%, while the remaining art forms accounted for less than 10%. Similarly, among the oldest age group, concerts or professional and theatrical events were the most popular, accounting for about 25% and under 20%, respectively, while the remaining categories respresented less than 10%.
