The process begins with felling trees, followed by removing the bark using a drum. The logs are then chipped into small pieces and sent to a refiner, where they are turned into pulp. Moreover the pulp is pressed into sheets before being rolled into large paper reels. This paper is later used for printing newspapers.

Once newspapers are used, they are collected for recycling. Additionally the recycling process starts with removing ink from the used paper before it undergoes pulping again. The recycled pulp can then be used in the paper-making process, reducing the need for fresh wood
