the graph shows how three types of fast food consumption increased between 1970 and 1990. while the chart provide more detailes on how much of these three types of fast food consumed by three group of people based on their income.
the graph gives a clear indication on how fast food consumption has been increased steadily in the past 20 years. while both hamburger and pizza consumption rised significantly after 1980. a declined in fish and chips consumption was noticable after 1975 to 1985 before we can see a change. it is worth mentioning that hamburger consumption reached 500g per week per person almost double what the same person consumed from pizza. by the year 1990, consumption of fish and chips and pizza were almost the same.
we can see in the chart that high and avarage income people prefere eating hamburger as their spending reached 40 and 33 pence weekly consicutavily. where low income people consumed fish and chips a little bit more than bumberger. it is worth mentioning how the income can affect whitch type of food people eat, as well as the quantity. for example a high income person spent 78 pences on fast food, almost double what low income person spent
