The table and chart ilustrate the description of citizens of Pakistan who live in three cities: Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. Overall, it is evident that children are described as the main increasing category of population in Pakistan, while men and women are almost similar, however, elders take the smallest proportion in the country.
Considering Pakistani men and women, Karachi has the highest percentage of men among the other cities (33%), whereas the female distribution in Lahore constitutes 43%, becoming the most women populated city. In contrast, the less inhabitants are youngsters and oldsters in Lahore accounted for 6% and 21%, respectively.
In terms of demographics, children dominate the population of Pakistan, accounting for 34%. Women and men have a moderate presence (25%, and 27%, respectively). Regarding the old generation of Pakistan, they stay at the lowest rate, equalling 14%, showing Pakistan as a demographically young country.
