The map below gives information about how the layout of the Brindell had changed over the period of 100 years and 200 years from 1800 to 2000. It can be seen that the Brindell area modernized significantly with the most noticeable transformation being the decrease of woodland zone as well as the appearance of more industries.
In 1800, Brindell had the layout very simple with a huge farmland occupied nearly the west which was used for crops and another one opposite used for animals. Moreover, there was a river stour situated in the central area and a big woodland zone in the northeast. Move to 1900, the area for woodland was curtailed notably, the grazing land was removed and a new village for workers named Bun hill with some industrie was erected.
By 2000, the area used for woodland nearly disappeared and another Bun hill park was built outside it. Both the zone of Bun hill village and Brindell extended extensively with more industries were constructed
