The maps illustrate how the town of Brindell and local areas changed in 1800, 1900 and 2000.
Overall, the town of Brindell and local areas underwent significant transformation, with the most notable changes being the destruction of farmland which was for animals to make room for additional Bun Hill which was village for workers and the industry areas. In addition, there was the addition of Bun Hill park and the reduction in the size of Farm land which was for crops, River Stour. Not only that, Only the Brindell was expanded. These alterations made this place become more industrialized.
Regarding the northern area, in 1800, farmland which was for crops was found in the northwest corner and a woodland could be easily reached on the opposite side. Besides, a River Stour was situated in the central area. In 1900, the farmland, the woodland and the River Stour experienced no alterations. By contrast, a Bun Hill park was built outside the woodland, thereby making the farmland and the River Stour become smaller at the end of the year.
Turning to the southern area, which featured a Brindell area which belonged to the southwest corner and a farmland for animals which was on the other side in the first year. However, the farmland for animals was removed and replaced with Bun Hill which was a workers’ village and three industrial areas, the Brindell area remained unchanged in 1900. Finally, there was the expansion of the Brindell region and the addition of industrial locations in 2000.
