Environment issues, particularly climate change, have been a global concern. There are many factors why it is happning todays, but the goverments are weak to control this problem, made this issue hard to reduce. I highly agree that the govermnets are not providing strict sanctions for law violators. However, in this essay I shall elaborate on my point of view analysing for other prespective of argument before deciding a proper conclusion.
First of all, it is quite reasonable for me to believe that the goverments more concern with economic growth than enviromnetal protection. This happens because a country’s success is always measured by its economic growth. So that, many country only focus on increesing industrial. That factor made the goverments are difficults to make strict regulations to manufactures because it will discourage invesment in industrial develoment. For instance, the goverments of Indonesia that only focus to the mining of natural resources, such fossil fuels, coal, and golds that made climate change in Indonesia does not uncertain. It is happaning because lack of control from the government to this issues.
However, focus to economic gowth is a good thing, but the goverments should pay attention to sustainable environmnet. Both side, economic and environment are relating to each other. The goverments must make a regulations to rules the environmentasl issue, such as push the factory to process there waste properly with environmentally friendly recycling. For instance, like Sweden and Gremany have implemented strict enviromental regulations, have seen positive results in reducing carbon emission.
In conclusion, the failure of goverments to impose strict penalties on evironmental offenders plays a signidicant role in the persistence climate change. More stringent laws and international cooperation are essential for meaningful progress in addressing environmentak issues.
