The graph shows the amount of acid rain emissions in the Great Britain which were measured in tonnes in the four various sectors in the period 1990 and 2007.
Overall, we can see from the graph initially, there were upward trend about acid rain emissions in the electricity, gas and water supply and industry fields. The amount of emissions of acid rain was lack in the transport and communication and domestic sectors. There were downward trend acid rain emissions in the all sectors in the UK at the end of the year.
Firstly, the amount of the emissions from acid rain was heavy and measured just under 3.5 millions of tonnes in the electricity, gas and water supply. The following years it declined dramatically and it showed 0,5 million of tonnes in 2007. The electricity, gas and water supply stood at well over 3 millions tonnes of acid rain emissions and having a gradual fall till 1997 and fluctuated in the next four years. Other industries levelled off in 3 years at just over 2, despite, declining gradually from 1995 to 2001 and experienced insignificant changes till 2007. Transport and communication had negligable changes, it had just experienced one peak in 2005 at 1 million tons. Domestic had only downward trend throughout the period beginning just over 0.5 and ending 0.2
