The given bar chart illustrates and compares the percentage of international students who enrolled in British universities in two respective years, 2009 and 2014. Overall, Brighton showed most enrollees in both 2009 and 2014, while Huddersfield and Cardiff showed least enrollee in 2009 and 2014 respectively.
In 2009, Brighton had the most international enrollees, 12%. Leeds had the second most international enrollees by 9%. Huddersfield foreign students who wanted to pursue their university, only 1%. Both Liverpool and Birmingham had 8% enrolled. Manchester had slightly less alien students than Liverpool and Birmingham, 6%. Glasgow, Edinburgh, Bristol and Cardiff had less than 5% (4%, 3%, 5% and 2% respectively).
In 2014, Brighton was still favoured by many International undergraduates, 13%. 12% of students prefer to study in Birmingham(second most popular in 2014). Leeds was still moderately popular, 10% of students enrolled. Both Manchester and Liverpool had 8% of international candidates. 6% of students sent their admission to the schools
In Glasgow, Edinburgh and Bristol. It was significantly more than 2009. Huddersfield was also popularised among the international community, the enrollee increased to 3%. Cardiff was anexception, it decreased to 1%.
Overall, Birmingham had a significant increase over the 5 years, as well as Edinburgh. Brighton and Leeds was consistently favoured. While Cardiff and Huddersfield weren’t preferred.
