The bar graph provides information about the amount of hours which were spend alone and with others everyday by age group in United Kingdom.
Overall, what stands out from the graph is that there was a significant upward trend in the hours of spending time with others among teenagers, while the time spending alone saw a substantial fall. Another interesting point is that elderly people spend considerably long hours alone.
Passing time with friends and family at age 8 to 15 shows the highest trend by approximately over five hours, although, small number of teenagers prefer spending time alone. By bringing up, the amount of hours fall steadily, in contrast, the hours of being alone rise negligibly among adolesence whose age between 16 to 24. Having remained stable at over three hours spending with others and about just over one hour among adults.
The hours of spending time with loved ones were around nearly four hours and staying alone was about one and a half hour among people whose age between 45 to 54. Remarkably, individuals between 55 to 64 demonstrate slight increase trend, whereas elderly people who 65 and over spend longer hours alone.
