Finally, the number rose to about 120 thousand students in 2020 with no any fluctuations, dramatic rises or any decreases.

On the other hand, in spite of the fact that te both countries’ indicators began at the same point, Japan’s had a signficant increase in 2005 until 2015 and then it continued to go up and in 2020 it reached approximately 200 thousand students.
