The line graph highlights data regarding the number of international students in two countries in the years 2000 and 2020.
Overall, what ca be vividly seen from the graph is that both nations increased over the period given. However, Japan witnessed more dramatic rise. Another interesting point is that the number of students in both countries were at the same point in the beginning.
First of all, it is clear that the index of the number of international students in both Japan and France began at around 80 thousand. The number in France, then, started to grow slightly. Finally, the number rose to about 120 thousand students in 2020 with no any fluctuations, dramatic rises or any decreases.
On the other hand, in spite of the fact that te both countries’ indicators began at the same point, Japan’s had a signficant increase in 2005 until 2015 and then it continued to go up and in 2020 it reached approximately 200 thousand students. This was an enormous growth in Japan over the time covered by the graph.
