In general, France had the highest number of tourists and Italy is the lowest. The dominant reason for travel was leisure, with education and other purposes making relatively small proportions.
The bar chart indicates that the most popular destination was France with 90 million of tourists. The USA was second with 80 million visitors and Japan third with 70 million. Thailand was down slightly to 65 million tourists, and Italy was the least popular with 60 million. All countries attracted large numbers of travelers but there was a noticeable difference of 30 million. Overall, France attracted the largest number of tourists, while Italy attracted the fewest. The dominant reason for travel was leisure, while education and other purposes accounted for relatively small proportion.
If we look at the pie chart we can see that the popular reason for traveling was for fun which was 55% of the total. Business trips made up 20%, which was a lot less than the number of people who traveled for fun. 10% Of trips were to visit family 8% were for education. 7% Were, for other reasons. Overall traveling for fun was the important reason, compared to the other categories. France was a place to visit and people traveled to France for fun. The pie chart shows that people liked to travel to France and other countries for fun and France had the tourists.
