The chart gives information about the percentage of the adult population who were overweight in four different countries in Japan, Finland, Australia, and USA at 1980, 1990, and 2000. The black bar shows for year 1980, the grey bar illustrates the number at 1990, and the white bar is for year 2000.
From the graph we can see that these bars always increase in number for three years. Year 2000 marked the highest population of overweight adults and the lowest were in year 1980. The country that had the fewest overweight population was in Japan also had the stabillized number of population in 1980 and 1990.
Looking at the Australia’ overweight population data, this country number population grew up almost 50% from the previous year. USA had the biggest population of the overweight population but increased gradually each year.
In conclusion, the population of the overweight adult was went up every year and could be the greater number or could be constant number depends on the country.
