Overall, in 2012 usa led at 60% while japan lagged behind at 40%. south korea and Uk had at 50% and 55% proportion of smartphone usage placed between these countries .
In 2022 each of these countries reached their highest percentage . South korea reached the highest increase proportion and moved to the top with Usa to 80% . Japan remained lowest to 65% whereas Uk moved below the south korea and usa and above the japan to 82% in 2022 .
