The given graphs provide information on the sources of revenues and exepnditures of the police sector in an area in Britain by millions in 2017 and 2018. Overall, the National Government provided the highest sources for the police budget across the period, while other sources, such as: grants, provided the least in those specefic two years, 2017 and 2018. However, the salaries took up most of budget by consuming almost two- thirds of the finacial sources.
For instance, the National Government sector supported with almost 176 and 178 million pounds in 2017 and 2018, respectively. Having aided with total of 193.5 million Pounds, the local taxes proved its benefit for that area in Britain as a significant source of funds. Even though that grants and some other sources provided far less than the above mentioned sectors, still, they are consisered as a slightly main source of income to budget the police departmanet in 2017 and 2018 as they simply shared by almost 38 millions in each year, with a slight increase of half of million in 2018.
On the contrary, the pie charts show the expenditures of the pilce sector over the salaries, technology, buldings, and transportation during the mentioned years. For instance, it is clearly noticeable that salaries consumed most of the budget by taking up 75% and 69%, repsectively. Besides, buildings and transport stood still as 17% of the budget was directed to them in both years, while technology expenses cost more by starting with 8% only of the budget in 2017 to be almost doubled in the following year.
