The pie chart illustrates the reasons why Vietnamese citizens changed locations to live in another part of the country in 2012.
Overall, it is clear from the chart that there are four reasons for moving home, including employment, study, marriage, and others. People who chose to relocate internally for employment have the largest proportion among the others, whereas those who decided to move because of their studies have the lowest percentage.
As can be seen from the chart, employment is the most common purpose that over half of the residents choose to move internally, accounting for 54.5%. Next, marriage is the second reason with most common reason since its percentage is 21.0%.
People who changed location to live in another part of the country for other purposes have a proportion of 13.1%. Furthermore, study is the least popular reason for citizens to move their homes, at only 11.4%, which is a little over one tenth.
