Band 5+: question: WRITING TASK 1 You should spend about 20 minutes on this task. The two line graphs below show New Zealand import figures from Australia and Japan in the years 1994 - 2004. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. You should write at least 150 words.

The line chart compares the import figures to New Zealand from Australia and Japan over the 10 years.

It is clear that the import figure from Australia is higher than the import figure in Japan. Australia import years are fluctuated over the years however still higher than Japan import figure in 2004.

From the chart we can see that, the import from Australia to New Zealand in 1994 is about 4000 mllion dollars.Over the ten years import figures are incresed dramatically to 8000 miillion dollars, a rise of 4000 million dollars.

While in the year of 1994, Japan has imported 3000 million dollars . It rose upto 3300 million dollars in the year of 1997. Then it increased to 3000 million dollars. Afterward Japan experienced a dramatic decline from 2000 to 2004 , it came down to 6000 million dollars to 2000 billion dollars , a fall of 4ooo million dollars. So we can say that the import figure from Australia and Japan both has fluctuated over the years but Australia has higher import figures than Japan
